The seeds of our endeavour were sown in 2012 when we identified a pressing need for bioremediation products in South Africa. These products were instrumental in alleviating the strain on overloaded sewer systems, marking our initial entry into the realm of microbial technologies.

Bontera establishes Bontera BioAg and forms a dedicated R&D team to develop innovative products aimed at reintroducing beneficial microbes into the soil. This marks a pivotal moment in the company's trajectory.
